Staff at Unicard have returned to a newly modernised workspace after the completion of a major refurbishment of their office in Wimborne, Dorset.
The continued growth of Unicard meant that we had outgrown our existing space, so seven weeks of work took place to extend and combine offices, almost doubling the desk capacity.
A grand reopening took place on January 11 with a breakfast for staff in the new boardroom.
Unicard’s Executive Chairman Peter Verrept and CEO Sean Dickinson officially reopened the new workspace and gave a special mention to Business Coordinator Sophie Harris who oversaw the project.
Unicard Product Manager Will Howard won a competition to name the three new meeting rooms. They are now called Durdle, Corfe and Lulworth – after the nearby Dorset landmarks of Durdle Door, Corfe Castle and Lulworth Cove.
While the refurbishment work was taking place, the office staff were working remotely from a temporary office and their homes.
