Michael Philliben joined Unicard as the General Manager of our newly acquired East Kilbride office. His role is multi-faceted, including business development, compliance, project support and everything that involves people and working culture. He collaborates with the rest of our senior management team to drive the collective Unicard business forward.

He comes from a global professional services background, having led international business functions, and established growth strategies and relationships with all levels of management and stakeholders. After starting his career in the British Army, Michael held director level roles at start-ups, SMBs and global enterprise technology organisations.

Michael describes himself as the stereotypical Uber dad: not as in super but as in a taxi driver. He is married and has two teenage boys and two dogs who all keep him entertained and busy, whether as a taxi dad or standing on the sidelines as a rugby dad.
